We have just completed a Gable Stratco Outback Pergola & Merbau Timber Decking in Salisbury. Thankfully the weather finally cleared up and we were able to complete this job within a week. Feel free to view the photos below or on our Facebook page.

Gable Stratco Outback Steel Pergola 

The Pergola itself is a Steel Pergola, meaning all the frames and beams are steel. A lot of customers go with this method due to the durability and long lasting lifespan of these types of pergolas. As well as this we added skylights in the roofing to allow for more light to pass through into the entertaining area. In addition we added guttering and a down pipe to make sure all rain was disposed of in the correct way. 

Timber Decking 

With this steel pergola we also added a timber decking floor to finish off the new entertaining area for the customer. The timber decking we used with this particular job is known as “Merbau Timber Decking”. 

Merbau Timber Decking is an extremely durable, long lasting, tannin rich hardwood. It has a consistent yellow-brown colour and is easy to work with in terms of clean cutting and easy fastening. Perfect for all your decking needs, Merbau is a popular choice that looks great and lasts a long time, provided it is properly maintained.
